So, an upcoming Bollywood movie Bramhastra (Dragon) has been rumored as an official Bollywood remake of Deadpool. This movie is an Ayan Mukherji’s upcoming Sci-fi movie that features some of the biggest stars of Bollywood like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan. But earlier it was named as ‘Dragon’ and this is what created these rumors that this film is going to a remake of Deadpool.

But a few days ago Ayan Mukherji himself cleared all these rumors by renaming the film as Bramhastra. Talking about the film he revealed that this official title resonates with the “ancient power, wisdom and energies”. He further revealed that “there are some costumes, maybe not the way you’d expect them to be”.

So, clearly, the news of Bramhastra being a remake of Deadpool is not true and this film will be much more rooted in ancient India. The movie has created a lot of curiosity since its announcement. As people are excited to watch pairing of Ranbir and Alia for the first time on big screen. Apart from that TV actress Mouni Roy will also play a negative role in the film.

The initial shooting of the film will take place in Israel and the first part of this sci-fi film series is scheduled to be released in 2019.
