THE MAJOR (Scarlett Johansson) is a badass cyborg policewoman having a human brain. Name of her creator is Hanka. She has given the task of fighting with cities cyber criminal and hackers and in the process, a new and very strong enemy starts rising, it defeats all artificial intelligence like her. Later while searching her own identity she came to know that she and many like her are created for some evil purpose. It seems like this movie will be a merging of Blade Runner and The Matrix.

Scarlett is looking absolutely stunning as always in action scenes. Other stars in the movie are Pilou Asbaek, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche and Michael Pitt. Scarlett told the reporters in Tokyo that this movie will not be a mere copy, here is what she said in the event

“You can’t rip it off the page, it’s totally different. You’re playing it as a – it’s not really a person, but it’s a human brain, it’s someone who’s having this life experience. Which is very different from just ripping stuff off from the manga. One thing that will be very different probably is we’re not making the Frank Miller world where those graphic novels come to life. We have kind of the iconic iconography of the Manga and stuff, but I think people will be surprised at the gritty kind of realness of this. For a person that doesn’t have a heart, it has a lot of heart, I think.”
