Xiaomi, the Chinese company which gained a lot of popularity in India because of their disruptive pricing, and great handsets. Xiaomi is being trolled in recent time by people calling it ‘Gareebo ka Apple’ and more, as they launch pretty decent devices at a low price than the other manufacturers with similar specs. These trolls may never end as this time Xiaomi is coming up with the latest design we call a ‘Full View’ Display in their latest offering the Redmi Note 5.

The Redmi Note 5 has been passed through Tenna Couple of days ago leaking out its full spec sheet and design, and today we will talk about it, about why it’s different than others and why it can make a difference. So, let’s get started.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Specs

  • 2GHz Octa Core Processor (Probably Snapdragon 636 or 630)
  • 5.99-inch Full View Display (18:9), 2.5D Curved Glass
  • 3GB/4G RAM
  • 32GB/64GB Internal Storage
  • 12MP Rear Camera, Dual-LED Flash
  • 5MP Front Camera
  • 4,000 mAh Battery
  • Android 7.1 Nougat, MIUI9

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5The specs are totally budget with the midrange processor coupled up with 4GB of RAM typical Xiaomi Specs. This phone still comes with a Single Rear Camera, which seems like a drawback. Maybe Xiaomi managed to copy Google Portrait Mode tech in their MIUI, but there are no other sensors on the back as the Pixel 2 XL.

So we have to wait and see what Xiaomi has to offer this time in Camera Department. This device comes with Android 7.1.2 Nougat, which is good (sort of) as you will get updates regularly but, Xiaomi only updates their MIUI to make it more stable and useful, they are very slow in updating Androids. So, don’t expect fast Android Updates on this device.

Let’s talk about the pricing and availability of this device
