Xiaomi unveiled a long-awaited smartphone today the Xiaomi Mi 5c. Also, there were rumors that Xiaomi is working on their own chipsets, which turns out to be true. So let’s talk about this in detail, Let’s get started.

As you can see the specs are Midrange, so as the price, we will talk about the pricing and availability a bit later, but first let’s talk about the Xiaomi’s inhouse Processor Surge S1. It’s a Midrange processor, as Xiaomi compares it with the Snapdragon 652 and Helio P20, you can expect a good performance out of it.
On paper battery seems pretty low but, they said it will provide a Full Day Battery life on Mi 5c, so it looks like this processor is power efficient too. They are using 4x 2.2GHz A53 Chip and 4x 1.4GHz A53 Chips, 1.4Ghz chips will manage the tasks which require less power and when power is required (Gaming) all the 8 processors will work as a team to give best user experience possible.

Xiaomi Mi 5c Price and Availability
Xiaomi Mi 5c is available in 3 colors Rose gold, Gold, Black, and its priced at $220~15,000Rs. The release date is set for 3rd March. No details about when will the device will launch in India.
