Asus is all set to unveil its new Zenfone 4 Series at the end of July, as Asus CEO Jerry Shen said. The smartphones are supposed to make an appearance at Computex 2017 but we held them back for last minutes design and efficiency upgrades. He added.
This major delay will surely cost Asus a lot in terms of revenue and profit for 2017, but CEO of the company says “We are hoping that the delay caused and the improvements made will surely put Zenfone 4 in a better position aginst the other competitors. Also, we expect to run a profit by the end of the year”.
The new zenfone series is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Display with a price tag of $500 (~32,000Rs). The Company is expected to launch the Zenfone 4 first, followed by other variants later this year.
