Bye Bye “Nexus”, Hey there “Pixel”

As we all know Google is planning to launch its own android handsets soon, but it looks like we don’t have to wait for another year to see that happen. Probably the new nexus phones to be launched this year could feature under google branding. That’s right, it’s been a rumor that google dumped the nexus brand and renamed it to be Pixel. That means the phones to be launched this year, a 5-inch “Sailfish” and a 5.5-inch “Marlin” could possibly rename as “Pixel and “Pixel XL”.

But there’s been a report that Pixel and Pixel Xl are the first phones built by google, but the Marlin and Sailfish are manufactured by HTC. That’s a mystery to solve???

Here’re the Specs of both Marlin and Sailfish

These specs are pretty entry level when compared to Previous Nexuses and other smartphones, maybe we get to see more than 2 google devices this year two Pixel Series smartphones and 1 or 2 Nexuses….who knows??

There are reports that this year’s nexus will cost way more than the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X. Well with these specs who will pay more than the price of previous nexuses.
