People are forced to lock themselves in their homes as the experts have declared the public health emergency in the city. Many Bollywood celebrities who are in the city for the shooting of their respective films or other work commitments have also raised their concern over the dangerous Delhi smog. Pareenti Chopra who is in Delhi for the shooting of her upcoming movie has tweeted a pic of herself wearing a mask.

This Golmaal Again actress captioned her tweet with “2 days of shooting in Delhi – and my chest is hurting, the head is hurting, throat is paining!! 😰 Can’t believe we have let things go so out of hand that human beings don’t have air to breathe to anymore. Can’t imagine the situation for kids and elders. Please, guys, let’s all WAKE-UP. We cannot be doing this to our planet. #Delhi Smog ”

Similarly, Actor Arjun Kapoor also raised his concern in a series of tweets one of the most viral accident videos of past few days.

Actor Varun Dhawan also shared one of his almost unrecognizable pics in masks.

He captioned this pic by “I have clicked this selfie to show you guys what actual smog looks like. I don’t want to preach I am equally to blame for this mess as most of the citizens of our great country, but now instead of blaming each other and the government let’s change. It’s time we go green. #delhichokes”

According to the reports, the air quality has been degraded to record-breaking level and the whole city is under the toxic cloud of smog.

According to a report published in Deccan Chronicle “Dr Vikas Maurya, Senior Consultant and Head of Department from Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi advised people to avoid going outdoors along with doing physical activities like cycling, jogging. N95 masks should be used if it is absolutely necessary to go out”.
