We all know that Google always tries to be different and, tries to make features and apps available to a lot of people, unlike Apple 😛 Also this time Google did something nice we can say? Google Motion Stills is an app that lets you play with real-time AR figures, and you can also record them.

Google Motion Stills Features

Motion Stills is an app from Google Research that lets you capture short videos and transform them into beautiful cinemagraphs or sweeping cinematic pans using Google’s advanced stabilization and rendering technology.

With Google Motion Still, you can do many things:

  • Capture a short 3s clip with a simple tap or condense up to a minute of video into an easy-to-watch clip using the Fast Forward mode.
  • Share your Motion Stills as looping GIFs or videos directly to your friends.
  • Create movies by combining clips with a simple swipe to the right.
  • Browse your recorded clips in a stream, or flip through them one-by-one and watch them auto-play.

The main highlight of the app is its AR stickers, though we have few of them, the tech Google used is incredible. These AR stickers can sense your hands or a moving object, and if you pass that thing around them they also start moving, as if it’s standing on that moving thing, which is impressive.

Google Motion StillsFor that you don’t have to get any advance smartphone, Google Motion Stills can work on any Android smartphone that has Gyroscope…which every device has nowadays.

As you can see that this app is developed by Google Research Team, not by Google LLC, so we don’t know when it can go off air, or what problems it may cause, as its an experimental feature.

So, did you like this concept of playing with Real-Time AR stickers, it’s like improved Pokemon Go 😛

You can download the app from the link Below, or from the Play Store for your Android device or from App Store for your iPhone.
