How to get Reliance Jio Sim for any 4G Device

Reliance Jio

Today I tried to get a Reliance Jio Sim for my Le 2 and some other Samsung phone I have, and I get to know some pretty interesting things that I will share with you. There’s also a list of devices that can run Jio. So, let’s get started.

First of all, I tried to locate my nearest Reliance Digital store using Google maps and I found nothing is updated….the stores listed there is either closed (permanently) or not just there. However, I managed to get a call with a fellow Reliance Executive and she gave me phone Numbers of existing Reliance Digital stores…Nevermind, I should just fast forward it……..So, now I am at the Reliance Express mini store (Now the info is spread across all the Reliance stores). They asked me for some verification stuff ( make sure you get that with you)

  • Adress Proof (Adhar Card etc (Orignal))
  • Passport size photo

Most importantly, if you have a Samsung phone or an LG or a 4G VoLTE supported phone (mentioned below) you can get Jio.

If you have a Samsung or an LG device -> Check out the procedure here.

If you have a VoLTE supported phone make sure you get the all the important documents Orignal because they will photocopy it with their own machine. Then you have to choose a new number from the given set of numbers… and there you go you now have Reliance Jio SIM but not unlimited data and Calls… For that, you have to wait for some time. Here’s the procedure:-

Here’s the procedure:-

  1. After getting the SIM you have to activate it by call calling on 1977.
  2. After that, you’ll get 2GB starter internet pack.
  3. You have to make an account on My Jio if you do not have it.
  4. You have to call on the customer care number 198 and they will tell you the procedure to avail the unlimited plan (You have to install 4 apps JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats and JioMoney).

That sit…You now have unlimited data and HD free calls for 3 months.

check out what you get in the given picture.
