Trapped Review: Rajkumar’s One man show gets dwindle by some Obvious flaws

Trapped Cast: Rajkumar Rao, Geetanjali Thapa

Director: Vikramaditya Motwane

Genre: Thriller

Duration: 1 hour 42 minutes

Trapped Story:

Shaurya (Rajkumar Rao) accidently locks himself in his room and gets trapped in his new flat located at 35th floor in Mumbai. He tries everything to get out there but all in vain. Things get worse when his Mobile’s battery gets discharged and the flat is drained so there is literally no one to help him out there. How he fight all odds and manages to survive for almost a week is what we get to see here.

Trapped Review:

Shot in less than a month, this low budget film will thrill your weekend. We all have heard many survival stories of jungle, islands but a story like this is unimaginable. One can judge the brilliance of director when he creates such an atmosphere that you yourself start feeling trapped there.

Rajkumar Rao absolutely stuns us with his clean and sharp acting. He solitary keeps us engaged throughout the movie. The scene where he talks with rat and tells him jokes are an absolute stunner. Geetanjali Thapa who is playing Rao’s Girlfriend has also played her part well.

But this smooth going movie looses its grip somewhere in the second-half especially the time passage has not been shown wisely. Though we like what he tries to survive but logically it difficult to swill down them.

overall it is a performance driven film where we got flattered on seeing Rajkumar Rao’s one men show.
